2003- Prateek Sharma
, for a 12 day trip to Poland to attend an international conference on "Particle Acceleration in Astrophysical Objects", in Cracow, and to visit scientists at the Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center in Warsaw.

2004- Wei Liu, to attend the Computational FLuid Mechanics 2004 summer program at the Golm campus of the University of Potsdam, Germany. original Hotline article.

2006- Seth Dorman, attended the Theory of Fusion Plasmas Conference in Varenna, Italy. He also visited Padova where he saw their RFP and presented a seminar on magnetic reconnection. PPPL Hotline article.

2007- Erik Granstedt, attended the first ITER Summer School on "Turbulent Transport in Fusion Plasmas", in Aix-en-Provence, France. He also visited the French tokamak Tore Supra in Cadarache, and the plasma physics group at Ecole Polytechnique. PPPL Hotline article.

2008- Luc Peterson, attended the EU-U.S. Transport Task Force Workshop in Copenhagen, and visited the Max-PLank Institut for Plasmaphysik in Garching, Germany. PPPL Hotline article.

2009- Jeff Parker, attended the Summer College on Plasma Physics at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste, Italy, where he presented a poster on Hall Thrusters.

2011- Tyler Abrams, to attend the week-long summer course sponsored by the Italian Agency for New Technologies, Energy, and the Environment (ENEA) entitled “Plasma Wall Interactions in Fusion Devices: Physics and Technology,” and to visit the Frascati Tokamak Upgrade (FTU) facility for 3 days.
