Sorry for not answering you. IPCS has been built on Solaris up to 5.4b I believe. GA has some machines but they are special purpose so they may be a bit behind. I gziped a tar file and placed it on our anonymous ftp server. I modified the Makefile and arch script to make a Solaris version. You will need to edit the Makefile and specify the IPCS_ROOT. If you don't do and install the first time you will get some errors, I've set .IGNORE in the makefile so it will plow on. I generally do a make and get the libraries built before doing a make install. It installs in the usual areas under it's root (lib, etc, include, man). In the distribution look in the man and doc directory. You man find some useful info there. In man/man5 is a config.txt file Dave Butner wrote documenting the options to the Netmailer config file. If you are using a browser in the correct place here is a link: tar file Otherwise ftp to alvin.llnl.gov and use account anonymous, email as password. Change directories to pub and get file ipcs.tar.gz . The directory itself is read protected so you won't see the file but it is there. I'm not surre what you mean by a distribution kit so I guess that probably means the answer is no. We've tried to make the install painless for the platforms we already support. See what you can do with what I've given you and if you have trouble I'll be glad to log on and take a look. BTW: I'm working in Culham at the moment so I'm 5 hrs ahead of you.
