Messages, Exit, Initialize, and Help

EX
or X exits CUPLOT if typed at the ``Command[ ]?'' prompt.

/X
The two character sequence ``/X'' and the single character ctrl-Z exit when input at any prompt, not just ``Command[ ]?''.

M
(messages) shows each element you have specified and its status. The second output line for each element is the data description if the read was successful, or an error text if not. (Errors are not reported when the data is read.) For example, the Messages output for the data in the example above would be:

Command[ ]? sh 55806 de mb-ip-sl ; r m

Shot/Device.........t1......dt.......tn....scale.....#pts.qual.err

F01C01:55806/MB-IP-SL 0.005 0.010000 7.995 1.0 800 0 0

Plasma Current

The F01C01 notation identifies this element as Frame 1, Curve 1. Following that are the shot number and data element name. Next are the x axis (time base) parameters: t1 is the start value; dt is the delta, tn is the end value. Next is the data scale factor, the number of data points, and the waveform quality code. The last item is the error number, where 0 means success. If you mistype the data element name the output would be:

Command[ ]? sh 55806 de mb-iq-sl ; r m

Shot/Device.........t1......dt.......tn....scale.....#pts.qual.err

F01C01:55806/MB-IQ-SL 0.000 1.000000 -1.000 1.0 0 1 137

%VWF, Waveform not found for shot - MB-IQ-SL

H
(short help) gives a one page list of most CUPLOT commands. See Appendix A for a complete list.

HELP
(long help) invokes ``HELP CUPLOT''; type ctrl-Z to exit back to CUPLOT.

I
reinitializes (almost) everything and releases all dynamic memory. The only parameters not reinitialized are a few plot options such as the 4105 toggle.

IS
reinitializes everything that ``Initialize'' does EXCEPT the primary shot number.
