To select a PPPL pshr#### account for a user

          To select a PPPL pshr#### account for a user

  First, make sure that the user has a valid PPPL account. On the
  PORTALS on or TRANSPGRID.PPPL.GOV, this command can be used.
       $ getent passwd | grep <User's name>

  Then to determine which pshr#### account to use:
  On the PORTALS or on TRANSPGRID.PPPL.GOV, look in ~pshare/PSHR.LIST
  for an available number between pshr0003 and, currently, pshr0074.

  >>> After selecting a pshr#### account, update ~pshare/PSHR.LIST.

How to create PPPL pshr#### accounts

          How to create PPPL pshr#### accounts

  1) Request more accounts from Lena Scimeca. These accounts
     are not passwordable and do not have valid kereberos identities.
     Home directories are /u/transp/pshr####. They must be created
     in unixsrv1.pppl.gov:/p4/transpdir/p_transpgrid/ftpdirs and
     the auto.home map must be updated.

  2) Copy files including . files from /u/pshr0002 to the new
     account. Log in to each new account to allow the login process
     to create the remaining files required.
