Description of some of the codes and subroutines in the source directory

Executable programs:

gs2 :  gyrokinetic code by Kotschenreuther, Dorland, and Liu.

ball :   an ideal ballooning code (by Dorland and Kotschenreuther)
Doesn't give a growth rate, just yes or no on stability.

eiktest : read several different numerical equilibrium code formats or uses
local equilibrium models, and calculates complete set of quantities needed
to do calculations in ballooning coordinates.

rungridgen: optimize the spacing of a non-uniform theta grid (reads output
from eiktest), useful for highly shaped equlibrium.
