We have developed a workflow tailored for visualizing data generated
by GTS, GTC, and GTC-P. It is written entirely in Python and
portable to Anaconda environments. This enables running the
program on remote computers, such as cori at NERSC. The
simulation output can approach 1 TB which is prohibitive to copy
back to PPPL computers. The workflow produces animations of
plasma parameters as
f(x,y,t). The movies are 10 MB in size which can be
easily copied back to local computers.
The histogram is plotted with the same color map as the poloidal
plane.
