For many years, John DeLooper was a volunteer rescue squad member in his off-time. Now when he’s at work, he’s often charging to the rescue as head of PPPL’s Best Practices and Outreach, whether he’s greeting foreign visitors, teaching school children about plasma physics or steering PPPL through thickets of regulations.
