Most of these "other" classes are used by the classes that are specifically listed on the HLU User Guide tables of contents and roadmaps. These other classes typically allow for enhanced functionality in composite type classes. For example, the Workspace class helps in memory management. Transformation, MapTransformation, IrregularTransformation, and LogLinTransformation manage forward and reverse transformations. Base provides the base functionality used by all library objects.
As an HLU user, you may want to set resources of composite objects that include resources for some of these additional classes, but you will not need to create these objects as part of your HLU program. The composite resources available to any object are given in the Reference Manual descriptions of each object.
