Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory seeks to fill an experimental postdoctoral research position at MRX. The researcher will participate in laboratory studies of the magnetic reconnection and associated plasma physics phenomena.

Candidates must have a background in experimental physics, preferably plasma physics with some theoretical background knowledge and on computer languages (eg. LABView, IDL, MATLAB), vacuum technology, electronic instrumentation is highly desirable.  Space astrophysical knowledge is useful but not essential.

The researcher will develop measurement systems, acquire data, and work closely with other personnel to analyze and publish results.  The researcher will also operate MRX facility on a daily basis taking care of machine safety and other procedural issues.
