How to set resources and axis coordinates

This example can be created using HLU C library calls, HLU FORTRAN library calls, or NCL. It demonstrates how to tweak XyPlot resources using a resource file and how to set coordinates for the plot axes. The names of the source files for this example are xy03c.c, xy03f.f, and xy03n.ncl.


This module discusses how to create this plot using HLU function calls or NCL. A resource file is included with this example, and it is called xy03.res. This file is used to change the default resource settings for the plot. This example uses the same Y-axis dataset as the xy02 example, but this time values for the X axis are specified, changing the look of the plot.
