MMM95
- Abstract
- MMM95 is a module that computes the 1995 version of
the Multi-Mode transport model, which is described
in Physics of Plasmas 5 (1998) 1793--1799. The Multi-Mode
model consists of a combination of contributions from
different transport theories --- particularly, the
Weiland model for ion temperature gradient and trapped
electron modes, the Guzdar-Drake model for drift-resistive
ballooning modes, and a model for kinetic ballooning
modes. Transport from the MMM95 module is intended
to be added to neoclassical transport. The effect of
flow shear was added in 1998 as a new option.
