26-Jun-1993 GWH:

frantic is a package to calculate the neutral density profile in tokamaks.
The original source is on the vax rax.pppl.gov in towner$:[frantic].

frantic.for is a version with slight modifications needed to compile on the
unix workstations.

9-Jul-1993 DMC: incorporated into TRANSP distribution, to support
standalone fpp code. TRANSP has a modified copy of the same code in
library bcalc1 -- a version that uses TRANSP COMMON and has additional
code for computation of momentum balance in the neutral transport model.

dmc 24 Nov 2002: frantic is being made an NTCC module. The old H. Towner
source is retained as "frantic.save". The modularized library, previously
TRANSP's version in source/bcalc1, has been moved here as frantic_*.f*
(there are f90 components now).

 HARRY TOWNER 1-DEC-87 21:37:56 RUNNOTE

Compiled Frantic library without error checking in order to solve a problem
that Greg Hammett was having with floating underflow. (For some reason the
floating underflow was being trapped as a fatal error)
