MINGL--Getting Tokamak Data into a Database

MINGL[2] is a program that allows access to LOCUS, to database management utilites, and most importantly to tokamak data. With the DBASE option you can extract and copy data into a database from waveform files , raw data files , Ufiles , and SNAP files . To run MINGL, type $ MINGL or $ MINGL MYDB where MYDB is your database name or $ MINGL MYDB LOCUS to go directly to LOCUS with MYDB open. A terminal capable of emulating a VT100 is necessary to run MINGL.
