Looking at SNAP Output with CUPLOT

CUPLOT can be used to plot SNAP data, for example:
      $ CUPLOT DI S sh 35782_72 de te_ts ; go
plots the Thomson scattering Te(R) array before it was processed by SNAP for shot 35782 try 72.

Three CUPLOT command procedures have been written to display a standard set of SNAP plots. The information that describes the page layouts for each of these commands is in a command file.

To execute all of these commands with the standard command files for any shot-try, use SNAPSUM shot try printer, e.g., $ SNAPSUM 35782 72 hl0.

The type title command will list the available SNAP array names (both versus minor and major radius). You can restrict the search to those names beginning with a specified string of characters, for example:

           CUPLOT[]? TT S TI
prints out all of the SNAP variable names beginning with TI (it is case-insensitive). If you use SA instead of S, you will restrict the list to variables vs minor radius; if you use SR, you will restrict the list to variables vs major radius. The list below is an abbreviated version of the response to the TT command.

1066 TIR_USED Rmajor for used Ti(R)
1402 TIR_USED_RAW Raw Rmajor for used Ti(R)
1065 TI_USED Ti(R) input used by SNAP
1070 TI_USED_ERR Error bars for Ti(R) profile used in SNAP
1403 TI_USED_ERR_RAW Error bars for raw Ti(R) profile used in SNAP
1049 TI_USED_MAP Ti(R) used, mapped to flux surfaces
1401 TI_USED_RAW Raw Ti(R) input used by SNAP
1067 TI_USED_SM smoothed Ti(R) profile used by SNAP
2010 TI_1 Ti_1 (1st ion species)
2011 TI_2 Ti_2 (2nd ion species)
2012 TI_3 Ti_3 (3rd ion species)
2013 TI_4 Ti_4 (4th ion species)
2014 TI_5 Ti_5 (5th ion species)
The left-hand column represents the internal channel number in the SNAP archives corresponding to the variable name; it is not necessary to know this number, but you can use it to determine what sort of array the variable represents.
