Single Langmuir Probe Analysis Suite

This page contains the details of a fitting and analysis suite developed to go with the LTX single swept langmuir probes. The suite includes smoothing (lowpass, bi-averaging) functions, a method to remove the parasitic current, as well 3 and 4 parameter fitting (based on χ**2 minimization) routines. The suite provides seamless estimations of the electron temperature and density in the scrape-off-layer (SOL), as measured by the low-field side single Langmuir probe (LFS-SLP). The code is implemented in python.
