In particular, see this map for how to get from Rt. 1 to PPPL. (If you are going Northbound on Rt. 1, the easier entrance to PPPL is across from the NJ State Police, a little futher North than the Sayre Drive exit for the main part of the Forrestal campus.)
Written directions: From the South: -- Use Interstate #95 North to New Jersey. -- Stay on I-95 in New Jersey for about 12 miles and exit onto Route #1 North. -- Follow Route #1 North for about 7 miles. Pass Scudders Mill Road; PPPL is 1/2 mile further North. PPPL entrance sign is on the right side of the road (directly across from the N.J. State Police Barracks). If you reach College Road, you went too far. -- Enter PPPL driveway, turn left and follow road (about 1/2 mile) to Security Booth. Officer will direct you to parking areas. From the North: -- Use New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 9 (New Brunswick). Exit onto Route #18 North and then Route #1 South. -- Use Route #1 South for about 20 miles. Just past the Princeton Marriott and the N.J. State Police Barracks is the exit for Sayre Drive/Forrestal Campus (right exit). If you reach Scudders Mill Road, you went too far. -- Take Sayre Drive Exit. Turn left onto Sayre Drive and go under Route #1. Follow Sayre Drive to (unmanned) Security Booth and turn left into PPPL driveway. -- Follow driveway (about 1 mile) to Security Booth. Officer will direct you to parking areas.
