Login Setup

If you have not already done so, read the ``Accessing TFTR Data on the VAXcluster'' PPL technical report, TM-388. Along with much useful information this will tell you to include two commands in your LOGIN.COM file:

	$ SETUP TERMLOG

$ SETUP TFTRLOG

The TERMLOG setup should be before the TFTRLOG setup.

If you do not know what privileges your computer account needs to access various data, or how to restore data files from tape or optical jukebox, read Appendix B.

CUPLOT uses dynamic memory allocation for much of its work space. If you ever get a message that says ``insufficient virtual memory'', you have done something that would make CUPLOT grow too much. The maximum size of any program you can execute is set by your paging file quota (the size of your image when it is swapped out); the DCL command ``SHOW PROCESS/QUOTA'' will show you the current value. To have this increased contact the Computer Division Administrator (presently Lisa Hancock); for help contact Jack Abraitis.
