TRANSP Compute Server Access
TRANSP Compute Server access now employs FusionGrid Certificates for
authentication. To get a FusionGrid certificate, go to the
FusionGrid Credential Management Server and
click on "Request new certificate". To use this proxy, you will use the Globus
"myproxy-get-delegation" instead of "grid-proxy-init."
myproxy-get-delegation -s cert.fusiongrid.org [ -l username ] [ -t hours ]
where username is the name entered as username on the Request New
Certificate Form and hours is the desired lifetime of the proxy where default is twelve hours
(a TRANSP run may take longer than that default.) The password entered
is the one that you entered in the Form. For more information,
run "man myproxy-get-delegation" on your Unix system.

You should also mail TRANSP@PPPL.Gov ahead of time that you are requesting a TRANSP account.
A PPPL account can then be set up and TRANSP Compute Server access
enabled for you.
