TFTR Experiments

TFTR experiments  are organized by written proposals, coordinated by Task Groups whose meetings are announced in the TFTR Bulletin. Experimental proposals are presented to and approved at meetings of the Task Group Leaders Council, which are open to all. Accepted Experimental Proposals are available in the TFTR Control Room and in the office of Terry Greenberg, B260, tgreenberg@pppl.gov.

Prior to a run day, the session leader constructs a detailed shot plan. During the run, the session leader maintains a brief description of the run and a summary of each shot. These shot lists are available in an on-line data base. Booklets of copies of these lists are distributed periodically.

At the beginning of each run day there is a brief meeting, usually in the TFTR Control Room, to review the previous run day and the current run plan.
