Up to 1.3 Gbytes of data are collected for each TFTR plasma shot. A typical run day is two shifts of operation and produces up to 100 shots. During the shot, data from diagnostic devices are collected by CICADA computer system, and some microVAXes. Following the shot, raw and reduced data are transferred to the VMS cluster. Programs on the cluster analyze and display the data.
