I am a Professor at Department of Astrophysical Sciences and a Distinguished Research Fellow at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) (try here and here also), Princeton University.

News: We have been awarded a Department of Energy Genesis Mission Phase I grant based on FLARE, which officially launched on September 1, 2026. The project, titled "Towards a FLARE Digital Twin: Accelerating Experimental Research Using Neural Networks," brings together a consortium that includes Princeton University, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, Boston University, Los Alamos National Laboratory, University of California, Santa Barbara, and TAE Technologies, Inc. The core goal is to perform proof-of-principle tasks that integrate emerging AI/ML techniques with comprehensive data from FLARE and matching numerical simulations.
