Previous: UGRAF1 and UGRAF2--Display UFILE
Several specialized tools exist for displaying and manipulating Ufiles.
These are defined with $SETUP TFTRLOG UALL or
@USR:[UFILES]UFUTIL. Follow the instructions in $ HELP TRANSP
JUNK to set up scratch areas for error and information messages from
these programs.
- $ CONCAT
- combines multiple 1D Ufiles
to make a 2D Ufile. It can also add extra columns or rows
to a 2D Ufile by interpolation or extrapolation.
- $ ECPROG
- is a special tool for ECE temperature 2D Ufiles.
- $ EXTRAC
- extracts 1D slices in either x or y from a 2D
Ufile or can be used to create a new 2D Ufile by
deleting rows and/or columns.
- $ GAVER1
- averages multiple 1D Ufiles.
It can also interpolate and sum or difference 1D Ufile data.
- $ GAVER2
- averages multiple 2D Ufiles.
It can also interpolate and sum or difference 2D Ufile data.
- $ GSMOO1
- smooths and/or rescales 1D Ufiles.
- $ GSMOO2
- smooths and/or rescales 2D Ufiles; also swaps axes
order.
- $ PROPANE
- creates Ufiles from hand entered data.
- $ SPLICE
- splices pieces from multiple 1D Ufiles to form a
single 1D Ufile.
- $ SPLICE2
- splices for 2D Ufiles.
- $ THIN1
- thins 1D Ufiles, e.g. reduce the number of time points.
- $ THIN2
- thins 2D Ufiles.
- $ ULOOK0
- displays Ufiles scalar data.
The interface to these tools is similar to that for UGRAF1 and
UGRAF2. You can also write Ufiles from CUPLOT -- any
data element can be written out as a Ufile.
