SCORE

Princeton University’s Student Course Online Registration Engine (SCORE) website provides both undergraduate and graduate students with the tools and information required to maintain personal information, register for the academic year, enroll in courses, including adding, dropping, or swapping courses, and update payroll information or view and print pay statements and W-2 forms.

Blackboard

Blackboard is a site used to view online content for courses at the University. Don't expect your course to have material there as many lecturers and professors do not use it.

Student Data Storage

Students are allocated 5 GB storage on Princeton's WebSpace. For more information, see here. You can create a mapped drive connecting to WebSpace following instructions here. This can also be used for automated backups.

Re-enrollment

One of the annual rituals for graduate students is to justify their existence. To complete re-enrollment, visit SCORE. Be aware that there is a 15 minute timeout for your login, so it may be prudent to write your answers to the questions in an external editor and paste them into the boxes, or else all your work will be lost. For reference, the questions are:

  • Please describe your academic and/or research accomplishments this year. (Not to exceed 250 words.)
  • Please describe your academic plans and goals for the coming summer. (Not to exceed 250 words.)
  • Please describe what you hope to accomplish academically in the next academic year. (Not to exceed 250 words.)

Dissertation Completion Enrollment (DCE) Status

After their fifth year of study, students in the Program in Plasma Physics must switch their status from normal enrollment to dissertation completion enrollment. For further information, see the DCE Handbook.
