Describes (1) a simple limit of gyrokinetics useful for testing numerical algorithms, (2) Kotschenreuther's trick for fast implicit solutions for continuum/Eulerian gyrokinetic codes, and (3) initial search for alternative iterative methods (that may be particularly useful for extending to the higher collisionality edge region of a plasma).
